The beach of the Formicoli Village
Villaggio Formicoli overlooks the sea, just a few steps away and you can dip your feet into the waters of the Costa degli Dei in Calabria.
Parallel to the bungalows of the village extends a white sandy beach, with a shoreline of about 1 meter of small pebbles. However, just a short way into the water, you’ll find a sandy seabed.
Formicoli beach is among the most beautiful beaches on the Costa degli Dei.
Our kilometer of beach is bordered by low rocks, easily crossable to reach other beaches.
The body of water in front of the village is part of a Marine Park. From our beach, you can admire rocks in the middle of the sea called ‘Formicoli,’ which are what remains of the legendary ‘Porto di Ercole.’
